Calaena Sardothien/Aelin Ashryver Whitethorn Galathynius. She is undeniably badass and the strongest character throughout the series. Even when she loses everything, when she is enslaved and made a killer, she holds onto her free spirit and kind heart. She does whatever it takes to help others, even when it means destroying herself. A TRUE queen.
Rowan Whitethorn. As a mirror to Aelin, his strength is insurmountable. He is a warrior with a heart that learns to soften throughout the series, especially for a certain fire queen. Also, I’m a little bit in love with him.
Dorian Havilliard. A prince by birth, but a hero by choice. I LOVED his growth from a submissive, charming prince to a steadfast, charismatic king.
Lysandra Ashryver. Her evolving friendship with Aelin is a perfect model for women supporting women. Not to mention, her feisty attitude and general badassery are unmatched.
Aedion Ashryver. So charming. So brave. So deadly. The epitome of a perfect supporting character and quite possibly the perfect man.
Manon Crochan-Blackbeak. This Queen of Witches is one of the most morally gray in the series, which also makes her one of the most interesting. She genuinely scares me and I also kind if want to be her. The only thing cute about her is her bond with her kindhearted wyvern, Abraxos.
Elide Lochan. What she lacks in magic, she makes up for with intelligence. I also really appreciate the depiction of a quiet, shy character who is still strong and of value without needing to change herself.
Yrene Towers/Westfall. She plays a crucial role in not only the biggest conflict of the series, but also in each of the characters' lives. It’s easy to see why she’s a healer, in more ways than one.
Lorcan Salvaterre. He’s tall, dark, handsome and a bit of an jerk, but he shows impeccable growth throughout the series. Plus, he ends up with Elide so he can’t be that bad.
Chaol Westfall. I know he’s crucial to the story. He shows Celaena that honor still exists even in dishonorable times. He is who gives her the courage to find good in people once more but really, he’s still so meh. Who would prefer an ordinary world to a magical one? Chaol. That's who.
